The trademark legal disputes between Apple Inc. and Apple Corps Ltd, that is the Beatles' guardian entity have resolved.

The settlement gives Cupertino-based Apple Inc. ownership of the name and logo in return for agreeing to license some of those trademarks back to London-based Apple Corps - guardian of The Beatles' commercial interests - for their continued use.

Other terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Legal analysts estimate that Apple Inc. paid $50 million to $100 million for the rights to own the name and the Apple logo.

Jobs welcomes the positive settlement and Beatles fans are expecting the Fab Four to show up in Apple's iTunes Music Store, no songs of The Beatles are available to download yet, however.
