"All my bags are packed, Im ready to go..."<br /><br />I scheduled the trip for a couple of months, and I am about to fly to Middle East.  Not UAE, not Saudi Arabia but Qatar, Jordan and Israel.<br /><br />I have been dreaming for a floating bath in Dead Sea, boat riding in Lake Galilee.  Experiencing the act of Lawrence of Arabia in Wadi-Rum, and further to follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ in Mount Olives, Jerusalem.  There are also many memorable great places to visit in these countries and the Holy Land, as well as the famous Petra in Jordan. <br /><br />I will be back to China in mid February 2008. Unfortunately, US Stock market appears to be pessimistic on economical recession, whereas the subprime loan issue has not yet been resolved. The Company posted revenue of $6.22 billion and <span style="color:#0000ff; ">net quarterly profit of $904 million</span>, or $1.01 per diluted share. These results compare to revenue of $4.84 billion and net quarterly profit of $542 million, or $.62 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 33.6 percent, up from 29.2 percent in the year-ago quarter. Unfortunately, Uncle Santa Steve did not make my dream came true and Apple failed to reveal anything better for Mac mini's evolution. It sucks!<br /><br />Nowadays, the existing Mac mini is still stubbornly powered by the out-dated Intel's Core Duo CPU, running the CPU speed at 1.66GHz or 1.83GHz respectively. I do not hear anything significant from the Apple Campus since last year, and obviously Apple will soon drop the Mac mini.<br /><br />The only way I can see that Mac mini is ended up to serve its glorious duty as a toilet paper holder in my home.<br /><br />R.I.P.
